Life’s Biggest Moves: Embracing New Beginnings from Turkey to San Diego and Germany

From Turkey to San Diego, Then to Germany: The Biggest Changes in My Life

Life sometimes opens unexpected doors and leads you to entirely new adventures. That was exactly the case for me; after working as a cabin chief for many years, I experienced two major moves that completely changed my life: from Turkey to San Diego, and then to Germany.

From Turkey to San Diego: A New Chapter

During my career as a cabin chief, I had the chance to visit many cities around the world. But settling down somewhere is very different from just traveling. We chose to move from Turkey to San Diego because we had fallen in love with the city during our previous visits. Its vibrant energy, climate, and lifestyle truly captivated us.

My husband and I lived for 2.5 years in the city center, a lively and bustling area. Our time there taught me what it means to live life more simply and joyfully. In that dynamic city, I made new friendships, met people from different cultures, and discovered new sides of myself.

A New Chapter in Germany

After wonderful years in San Diego, we decided to move to Germany, attracted by new career opportunities, quality of life, and the country’s central location in Europe. We also believed it would offer great personal and professional growth possibilities.

We have been living in Germany for 1.5 years now, and every day brings new lessons. A different language, unique traditions, and a completely new rhythm of life… This journey has its challenges and discoveries, but it has provided me with an amazing space to grow and evolve.

Awakenings Through Change

These journeys have taught me so much: flexibility, patience, open-mindedness, and most importantly, the courage to discover myself. After my career as a cabin chief, the perspective gained from living in different countries led me to content creation and blogging. Now, I share my travels, experiences, and lessons through my writing.

Stepping out of my comfort zone and venturing into the unknown was challenging at first, but it opened up endless opportunities. These changes remind me that new beginnings are always possible. No matter what happens in your life, opening new doors and carving new paths is always in your hands.
